A pair of bookends in the form of a parent seated reading to a small child. as a parent, this conjures precious memories for me of the magic of escaping into story books with my children.
They were conceived as the result of a challenge I was given to create some 'functional' sculptures, for an upcoming TV programme. I can't release any details yet, but it will show me in action carving these bookends, amongst other things.
